Welcome to Millars Vineyard. Nestled into the coastal foothills of the Brynderwyn range and surrounded by picturesque rural views of vineyards and olive groves, you will find our small family owned and operated boutique vineyard established in 2005. We have approximately 2 hectares in vines comprising of Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, Viognier and Syrah. Due to our rather small size and production (400 cases per vintage) we strive to produce wines that are not only memorable but also of premium quality that will reflect the care and attention shown, both in the vineyard and in the winery. Our family welcomes all visitors to Millars vineyard whether you wish to taste wines at the cellar door, wander through the vineyard and enjoy a game of Petanque, or just relax under our charming Band Rotunda. Ross, Jennimay and the boys - Elliott, Harrison plus Scooter the Jack Russell and Tin Tin the cat (in charge of Rabbit control) look forward to your company and we hope to make your time with us an enjoyable experience.

Millars wines were recently awarded 3 Bronze medals in The University of Auckland Upper North Island Wine Challenge: Viognier 2010 Gewurztraminer 2011 Syrah 2010 (to be released in 2012) We also won Silver last year in the New Zealand International wine show 2010 for our Rose 2010.
